I always been fascinated by the virtual spaces of video games. The possibility of imaging myself in electronic ambiences and being able to walk, run, drive a car, travel into these ambiences to find their limits, live inside them for a while. New technologies such as Oculus Rift and augmented reality have developed even better this possibility of SUBMERSION. Through the tridimensional mapping of photographs shot at night-time, I have striven to recreate virtual ambiences that evoked those of the video games. This has allowed me to modify the photographed object through interventions of tridimensional modelling in post-production: I have been able to modify the light, the shape of the buildings, the creation of virtual parts disguised as real. Urban elements become statuesque, rotating, deformed objects.
